Driving Along The Country Roads

Happy Thursday Everyone! the sun is shining!! whoohoo and it's beautiful out. Temperatures will be in the 70s F today so a nice day ahead.
I procrastinated yesterday and didn't go out and pay my property taxes. So today I'm heading over there because they're due tomorrow. Half of me is glad I didn't go yesterday since the weather wasn't very nice but now I have to go today and can't put it off any longer.
A nice ride seems like a good idea too especially since I haven't taken a ride just for the fun of it in awhile. Windows open and the radio on....

I can certainly understand not wanting to listen to loud music if you're stuck in traffic. But, it's fun to blast the radio and sing along when the roads aren't congested.

I do not have a car these days but when I did I loved to turn the radio on and sing along with it and put it on loud so could sing along.

That's what I love to do too!! putting the radio loud and singing along. I feel I sound better when the radio is loud

Glad that you were able to get the garden cleared. Our weather has gotten warm again but next week it looks like Fall weather will arrive.

Enjoy your warm weather while it lasts. We've got 67F as a high today in Missouri and the forecast says it won't make it to 70 anytime this coming week.
No, I don't blast the radio. I don't like the noise.

Looks like we're going to have temps in the 80s over the weekend and then it will get cooler. I don't think we've seen any Fall weather temperatures at all this month.

When I drove, I'd roll my windows up, blast my radio & sing along. Glad you got it done & got a nice day too! Now days, I bus, earphones in ear, U catch myself, from bobbing my head. With mask on, U lip sink, sometimes. You know, certain songs just moves me.

I love to sing along to the radio too. I could just picture myself forgetting I had earphones in my ear and start to sing outloud.

i do, my wife does not. My car sadly has audio controls for both the passenger and the driver. so, blast (turn down) blast (turn down) after a while I give up.

Wow I don't think I've heard of a car with dual audio controls. Of course my car is old and I haven't had the luxury of seeing all the bells and whistles the newer cars have these days. Guess it would be a no win for you if your wife has the ability to turn down the music. Do you at least agree at what you're listening to?

Ahhh getting out was wonderful. It's rare that I go anywhere lately but it certainly was nice to see something different. I'm doubly happy that I didn't have to wait on line to pay the taxes and zipped in and out.

Glad that your day turned around and got better. Mine turned out to be busy so I wasn't here much yesterday. It was so nice to get out for awhile and I sat at the park and enjoyed seeing people out and about.

I got the taxes paid and it was nice to get out of the house for a little while.
Maybe I exaggerated blasting the radio a bit and really should have said loud and singing along.

I love to play music, but not real loud. It was lovely here for the past three days, today we're getting a downpour of rain. I love it! Our temp is around 67 degrees, very nice.

I've been blasting the radio in the car probably from the day I got my drivers license I even remember when my kids were young and we would go out we would have the radio on and all of us singing along.
