Looky who escaped with me

That's Saia kitty there on the board bench that hubby and I made a few years ago. I snapped the photo yesterday. I made pie crust and then quiche material; eggs and milk and feta cheese with bell pepper and onion chunks. So I had the quiche made and plunked into the hot toaster oven. And out the door I went for a quick walk.
The afternoon was again warm and this side of summer. Rufus got in a fantastic series of running and leaping and snoofing at stuff while I sat. I hated to waste the afternoon warmth. I need to stretch my legs more than I am so I grabbed the opportunity while the quiche baked.

Saia is beautiful, here eyes are really focused on something in the distance! I love animals of all kinds:)(except for snakes)

You and the pets appreciate the warmth. It will be cold all the time more or less, soon enough...at least where you are. Doesn't look like we will be getting too much winter weather this year, but they might change their mind again next week...who the heck knows?

Quiche sounds good. Pretty says she'll make one tomorrow for our dinner. (We had beef and bok choy this evening.)
It was beautiful here today. I'm glad you got a chance to get out in the sunshine and fresh air.
