The Bed Is Calling Me.

It is still early at 7:52 pm but I can really feel the bed is calling me now. My eyes are a bit heavy already. And I have this pain in my low back that I am experiencing since this afternoon that prevents me from sitting for longer hours. Shall I give in to the calling? Good morning/afternoon/evening to all!

Good night... I am also in my bed now.. I wanna sleep early like yesterday after my vaccination. I am taking the opportunity to have more sleep...

I'm waiting for work to be over. I really want to rush home. I have been feeling so tired all day. I took a 20 mins nap during my lunch time. Yes you should go to bed

@Nawsheen, I sleep at 12 midnight, but during the f2f classes, I slept 9 in the evening. I cant avoid the feeling. Sometimes I slept still wearing my faculty uniform and woke up 2 am to eat dinner

You probably already did go sleep for a while since you wrote this discussion. Yesterday and today Pretty and I were seeing doctors. (My monthly allergy shot. She had to have blood drawn for tests. I had to have my thyroid checked again. And more x-rays taken.) We got home this afternoon and we were both exhausted. I slept from around 3 pm until 7 pm and am still really tired. I've caught up with all my notifications on myLot and on Noise, so now I'm visiting new discussions on both sites. Hopefully, I'll be able to go back to sleep soon.

that is the reason I have not seen you around, you were at doctors' I also posted one in noise but I need help in setting up my wallet. ahaha (ignorant me ) and yes, after I posted in noise and stayed there for a few minutes last night, I succumb to sleep

Well since it is still quite early you can opt for a short power nap if you want to. I think when your body tells you to rest it is good to hear them and follow them to ensure that your mind and body can recharge. They say power naps can be very effective like those in the after-lunch time or later at night when you feel sleepy. I usually have them at 6 pm I sleep for about 15-30 minutes and I feel a bit refreshed after that and continue my chores for the night until it's time for our eight-hour sleep at night.

@rakski Yes it does do a quick recharge and sometimes it is just what the body needs a shortstop from our daily grind and after that short break, they are back again to our energized selves.

we usually have dinner at 6-6:30 pm I wake up at 5 am. I cannot sleep that late. Lack of sleep cause my hypertension so I need to sleep at least minimum of 6 hours

I had a zoom meeting at 6PM last night and at past 8, I already felt sleepy too. Perhaps it's because I've always been tired working on our lawn and garden cutting grass and trimming plants.

@rakski If your bed is calling to you then you should not keep it waiting. If you feel that you are falling asleep then you should go to bed..
