Yesterday I had a routine doctor's appointment. Whenever I have an appointment with this doctor, we go to Texas Roadhouse which is close by. I had my usual Chicken Critters dinner. The power kept going on and off, possibly due to the thunderstorms in surrounding areas.
Today we may go out and get our annual flu shots. We'd like to get our Moderna COVID-19 boosters; but they aren't available yet.

@LindaOHio It was amazing as always. I was treating my daughter for her birthday. Longhorn is her favorite place. Her birthday is this coming Tuesday, but she has to work, so we did a little pre-celebrating over the weekend.

Today it's going to be decent -- 64 and sun...then it's going back into the 50s with rain--long-term forecast has one day in the 40s! Brrrrr.

lol I had mashed taters, mixed vegetables, a salad and their outstanding rolls and cinnamon butter. Chicken critters are chicken tenders.

We saw our doctor and ordered dinner afterwards. lol
Flu shot done. Moderna booster scheduled for Saturday for me. Hubs already had his Pfizer booster. Good luck!

My PCP said it's best to get the flu shot at the end of October so that you are protected through the worst part of the flu season. I'm glad you enjoy the pix -- I always choose carefully!

@DocAndersen I think we'll get our flu shots this week too. The COVID-19 booster is now available; but I think you have to wait 90 days from any other vaccines.

The boosters are now available; but the schedule is full; and the only locations are 40 miles away. I will keep checking.

Greetings from Germany. I have my first office day of the year today and do not know when the next one will be - the new normal.... I got my flu shot today in the canteen right before lunch. Yay ??

I'm glad you got your flu shot. We will get the COVID-19 booster and then get our annual flu shot.

Nothing exciting, we went today for the first check up of our car, it's 6 months old.

@LindaOHio Rumours said it will be next year, start form older person first - as usual. Our medical officer already got their booster. They're front liner
