Yesterday we had an appointment to take the car in to get the Starlink program updated. This is a service that we have -- in case of emergency, accident, etc. we simply push a button near the visor to call for help. When we got to the dealership, they asked if we wanted a loaner. Since it was going to take 2-3 hours instead of the hour that I was told, we said OK. When my husband went to get out his license, he discovered he didn't have his wallet!!! We ended up canceling the appointment and going out to dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse. I had gift cards and some cash to cover the dinner and tip. We have rescheduled.
The appraisal on the other house was Tuesday; but we won't hear anything for 7-10 days. This is the final obstacle to selling the house; so we hope that the appraisal goes well.
It's been really cold. There was even some s**w yesterday in some areas. I hate this weather; and Daylight Savings Time goes into effect this coming weekend; and we will lose an hour of daylight in the evening.

Sorry that you had to reschedule, but that's good you got to have dinner there. We don't have one of those restaurants anywhere close.
