I have been a bit "away." Some have noticed. Some could not give two hoots. Some have probably rejoiced. The wicked Porwest is gone. Either way, I have always said that one of the things about MyLot that I love is that for the most part it is and has always been a welcoming site that just let's me be me. For better or for worse and for whatever that is worth. Am I honest? Brutally. Am I opinionated? You bet I am. Do I care if what I say offends anyone? Couldn't care less. Do I care if you disagree with me? Not hardly. In fact, I like it when someone actually engages me in a dissenting discussion, regardless of the topic. If we all thought the same way, honestly, what in the hell would be the fun in that? I want all sides, all thoughts, all opinions... It is what makes the whole thing fun. I try to be as tongue in cheek as possible. I do my best to not get too rowdy, but sometimes some people leave me no choice. I am not sorry about that by the way. You get what you get when you talk stupid. Oops, there's that brutal honesty again. Do I care if you block me? In fact no. I welcome it. Why? Because it means simply that you are too shallow to be disagreed with and you are not someone I care to talk to anyway. And frankly, not someone worth talking to. So block, be gone, and good riddance to you. Dammit. Brutal honesty yet again. I was away because the money somewhere else is better. In fact, it is a hundred times better. I was forced to do the math today and in three years I have made less than $400 on MyLot. But I have made over $1000 on another site in 4 months. But the other site does not let me be me. It does not give me the same liberty and freedom to be me. It does not give me the same welcome to be me. And for that, for all the better money on the other site, it just makes MyLot better. More sophisticated. More engaging. More entertaining. And yes. More fun. I have enjoyed myself thoroughly today here, and I wanted to thank you. The reader. The commenter. The engager. The powers that be and whoever else that matters here. It is that that will keep me here, for better or for worse, to the joy of some and the chagrin of others. And of course the disgust of a select few. Thank you for letting me be me, and thank you for your support, understanding, and dissent. I value all of you. Every single one of you. More than you know. You make my day worthwhile, and you make my time here worth every single second. Agree or disagree, I am happy to be here. And it is good to be back. With that all said, back to regular programming. Let the brutally honest Porwest go on about the regular business of telling you that you are nuts and off your rocker, and just have a little bit of fun in the process of doing that.
