Hello on this cold, snowy morning here on the East Coast

Well we got our first snow and it is so cold brrrrrrr. It is suppose to change to rain though and the warm up quite a bit today. One day it is above seasonal temperatures and the next day it is below. You never know what it is going to be from one day to the next. You have to dress in layers to be prepared for whatever happens that day.
I am not a winter fan at all. The older I get the more I dislike it. I understand now why so many seniors head down south for the winter months. I would be happy if we had warm weather all year.
So how is everybody today? Any plans? I am at work so that takes up a good part of my day. Other then that just another day and like always I am waiting for Friday and the weekend!

I don't mind the cold so much as I hate shoveling snow. I was wearing jean shorts, tank top and sandals yesterday and today I'll have to put on jeans, tennis shoes and a jacket... It was 21C yesterday and is 1C today with the threat of snowfall...
I could try wishing my colder temps and snow over to you, though...

I bet when it changes to rain it will be icy and hard to walk or hard to drive. I hate below temperatures and then it really is cold. I hate layers. I also hate winter. I never liked winter. I grew up in Minneapolis and I thought winter would never end and spring and summer would never come. It is Friday here and I will be off the computer earlier because of the Jewish Sabbath. It comes in earlier in the winter.

The older I get the more I dislike the cold snowy weather too. I'm trying to ignore the forecast that we might get some of that white stuff next week. (ugh)

Our mountains have snow but here in the foothills nothing yet. I don't mind the cold, prefer it over heat and humidity.
I will be leaving to get some groceries shortly. After I get back and put them away I will study for my Sunday school lesson, bring it together. Hope you have a blessed day.

I am doing OK. I like cold weather more than hot. My favorite is warm though with low humidity and a nice breeze..about 65 to 80 suits me fine. It is rarely like that here though.

The temperature crashed back to normal after the low 70s yesterday.
I want to see if I can find some washcloths, then go home and drink some nice hot tea.

We had our first snowfall last week.
Today, its currently 6C at only 7:37am, so it will be a mild day here.
But tomorrow could be cold, like you say up and down weather.
I actually look forward to a hard freeze and it staying that way. I have a skin rash that flares up every year in early autumn and lasts until everything freezes. They do not know what it is, but the dermatologist wanted to cut a piece out to study it. Its on the inside of my elbow, not the easiest place to heal, so I said thanks but no thanks. So, I'm sucking it up.
