Covid and Vacation

I hope everyone had a good day. I’ve done laundry, cleaning and now catching up on Mylot. I’ve had interesting conversations on the phone. Talked to one sister I hadn’t talked with for awhile. Her son had covid last summer and is still recovering. He had surgeries and was on a ventilator for weeks . It was a miracle that he lived through it. He still isn’t able to work but he was finally able to go to his home.
My daughter in law returned from a vacation in Florida and she called to tell me all about it. She said she swam with the dolphins and they swam to her and glided right up against her. She was thrilled. She visited oodles-of parks and went to Sea World. She had lots of fun but was glad to get back home to her mate,( my son ). I know he was glad to see her.

Sorry to hear about your nephew having covid and such a rough recovery. There are so many lasting effects. I hope some day he gets back to feeling good again. Sounds like yoir daughter had a wonderful trip. Good night, sleep well.

@RubyHawk yes it is very scary with so much of it out there. I lost a few elderly family member to covid.

Haven't spoken to my brother in a while--a couple of weeks?
A little chilly in the apartment, and I'm guessing outside, too. Woke up with pinkeye today, so not really happy about that.

If I could swim I would definitely look forward such experience!

Sounds like like of fun to swim with dolphins. I remember going to Sea World and it was wonderful!!
Glad that your nephew is doing better. Covid certainly is horrible.
