Hubby just is not doing well. I made a great lunch of some of his favorites, and he could barely eat.
I made meatloaf, and Brussels sprouts and roasted potato wedges.
He put a cover over his plate and will try again later. I did get him to eat a little Cutie orange.
He is sleeping now.
I surely hope he gets to feeling better.

@Deepizzaguy I did not realize you had had covid.I am sorry for that. He just has injured his body doing more than he should and his muscles have gotten weak.

VA was giving him Ensure +, but it has a ridiculous amount of carbs. A couple of his doctors have stated that he is pre diabetic. There were more carbs in one than he should have in a day. I am making homemade eggnog for him now. I have been given lots of powdered eggs and that is a fabulous use for them. I use whole milk and heavy cream, but less sweetener than called for. Using maple syrup because it also has minerals in it. He would also like it with molasses.

He has a lot of pain lately and that takes his appetite away. He is very inactive, because of the pain.

He is in pain, and does not move around much at all (I think that makes it worse). I think it also depresses him.

I am so so sorry that your husband is not feeling well. I love meatloaf. I made it in the crockpot and it was really good. I hope he will be able to sleep and the sleeping helps him feel better.
