Sandman in Australia for Christmas Season

Believe it or not, Aussies who live near the beaches celebrate making sandman for Christmas. Instead of having a snowman, the locals are doing this. In my book, it is cool to practice this idea for the kiddies in the Philippines, too. We can make a sandman and make it as a resemblance to a snowman. Have you ever tried to do a sandman instead of a sandcastle? Image Credit: i.pinimg.com

There is no sand anywhere close to us unless we buy it.

That's a good idea. You can make a sandbox in the backyard.

That's really kool. I wonder if the sand here would hold up like that.

I am also fascinated by how did they do this. If I have the chance, I would love to make a competition on the beach in making the best sandman. It would not happen this time, but in the future after this pandemic.

I've heard they do that. Since we have snow, hopefully, this year, it won't be necessary to make a sandman.

The nearest beach will take me to travel 2 hours. With this matter, I got a good idea of what to do on the beach next year.

Many Australians will head to the beach with their Christmas meals. They'll be having crayfish and watermelon, along with other goodies.

I am glad that they do this. Have you ever tried to have this small event on the beach?

@Shavkat No, we don't like the beach much We would rather have lawn under our feet than sand.

I haven't tried it, too. I will try it if no pandemic anymore.

Lately, I'm aiming for new activities. If traveling is allowed without any constraints, then we can go to the nearest beach and do this.

That is so neat. Sand is always available there for sure. Snow is not always here now...and in fact usually isn't unfortunately.

Even in my city, we are not that too near to beaches. The nearest one needs to travel two hours from here.

That sandman is so cute and festive. I'm always amazed at some creations that people make with sand.

I am with you. I am not good at making sandcastles, sot it would be great to try this one.
