My Very Last Post on myLot

This year. I hope I didn't scare you. I have four hours left of 2021.
How are all of you celebrating the new year? Are you staying up or did you stay up to welcome it in? Did you go to parties? Eat too much? Drink too much?
I'm bringing it in quietly. My plan is to bring it in with prayer. We can all use God's guidance in the coming year.
My notifications are finished. I had a full day.
I didn't go to the Y this morning. It looked icy. However, I was busy.
1. I took the garbage down. When I got there, a man emptied it for me. I'm so short and holding the lid up and pouring in my recycling is a juggling act. I was grateful for his help.
2. I went to my son's to do laundry. When I got the first load in the washer I -
3. Went to Target for groceries for my open house tomorrow.
4. I went back to my son's, put the clothes from the washer to the dryer and put in the second load in the washer, and
5. Went home with the groceries and put them away since there wouldn't be room in the trunk for groceries and laundry.
6. Got back to my sons, took the clothes out of the dryer, and put the second load in the dryer. Folded first load.
7. Watched TV with my son who was then awake.
8. Took the bedsheets and towels out of the dryer, folded them, and left.
9. Went to another store for a couple of items, not at Target.
10. Went to Festival for the last of the groceries for tomorrow.
11. Arrived home shortly before 2 PM and made myself something to eat for the first time today. It was my only meal. I finished off the cantaloupe a short while ago for a snack.
So, you see, it was a busy morning and early afternoon. Since then, I worked on my notifications and left the apartment to invite neighbors to my open house tomorrow. Several said they would come. That makes me happy.
It's also no wonder my back is screaming at me with all I did today. Oh yes, before I sat at the computer, I made my bed since I stripped it earlier when I did laundry.

The New Year is not here yet in Kansas, but I will not be up to see it in. I have mostly done the regular things, the cooking, the cleaning. I have worked on painting some things black for school. My student with Cortical Visual Impairment differentiates things better on a black back ground. I am getting in the back to work mode. I hope you have a wonderful open house.

You got a lot done today. I had an appointment this morning and found when I got there it had been canceled. I went on and bought groceries. Of course I cleaned the apartment and cooked breakfast before I left the apartment. My son stayed awhile. I chopped up vegetables and put them in the rock pot. Then the scare about the tornado and that about covers my day.

Well, not much special on the New Year eve. We watched a movie and had an eggless Almond cake.
I was looking for a good plum cake but all were red marked.
Plus had a walk yesterday afternoon, though by 4 pm, sunshine starts getting less.
Have a nice New Year 2022 ahead.

Sunday was a bit busy.
I had to go to market to buy a few things.
Get a shoe repaired.
And then, give extra cotton in our house to a local Quilt/Blanket maker as we lack a quilt as of now.
And first working day of 2022 begins today.

Didn't do too much here, played monopoly with my husband and son and then watched some shows.
