What will you do today? / myLot

I read that it is bad luck to do laundry on the New Year's Day, so I got mine done last night. It is icy and windy and cold, but Angel insisted on going out. I have had breakfast, and done some online work, but I think I will go back to bed. I have signed up for a small Textbroker article that I need to get done. So I will be at home, do inside stuff, and perhaps I will take a nap. Happy New year to all of you.

Happy New Year. I rarely make plans and I didn't make any for today. I'm just going to wing it all day long and simply be lazy as usual.

I didn't know it was bad luck to do laundry on January first. I always do it before the end of the year. It feels good to start the year with everything clean. Have a wonderful day and yes, take a nap. Today is all about relaxation. Happy New Year!

I had heard in the past that whatever you are doing when the first rolls around you will be doing a lot of in the coming year.

@GardenGerty Oh, I hope not. I was awake at midnight and sending text messages to everyone wishing them a Happy New Year. I would like to think I'll be in bed asleep at midnight the rest of the year, though last night I was up and on the computer at midnight.

This was the first time I had heard it. I tend to try to get mine all done on a weekend, and when break started I got it all stared. It seems I am always washing something though.

Our temp is dropping fast and it's pouring rain right now. That's supposed to change into sleet and snow by this afternoon. I've been editing a manuscript while playing on myLot all night, so I'll be going to bed fairly soon. Happy New Year! I hope you have a good nap.

Never heard of it as bad luck but always felt you want to start with everything clean and fresh. Too bad my dogs didnt agree to keep the mud outside yesterday

The pets never agree. I found I was trying to get all the wash done to start fresh myself. Any time we were going for a trip, even just a weekend, my mom washed everything before we went.

Happy New Year to you and your hubby. Never heard it was bad luck to do laundry on New Years Day. I had some to do so I did. I think it is bad luck to need clean underwear and not have any
