Just Wondering- Playing Christmas or Holiday Music

While listening to Christmas favorites today as I was doing my household chores/ cleaning it got me to wondering. How long do you play Christmas music after the holiday season ends? For me, I usually start playing it a couple days after Thanksgiving and gradually will play and listen to more and more of my Christmas collection of tunes as the holiday approaches. But instead of putting all my holiday music away after New Year's Day, I seem to want to make that Christmas spirit last beyond and into January. I think I figured out why? The music is so cheery and wonderful to listen to, it just provides me with a happy feeling inside. And who doesn't want a pick me up when it's cold and snowy come January. Wonder if anyone else feels the same way as I do?

Christmas music, like a great CD/Album of songs, is so enjoyable you want to listen to it over and over again, not put it away till next season. But I eventually move onto other music by mid-January.

Perhaps the Christmas music enhances that morning happiness Christmas music, like a great CD/Album of songs, is so enjoyable I want to listen to it over and over again, not put it away so soon. That's just me. It takes me a week of listening to really start to get into the spirit of the music.

We don't have much of people who celebrates Christmas here, but I know few who start practicing before festivals. As they perform on Festivals. Nowadays their business is also impacted!

The TV stations usually put some Christmas programming into the week after Christmas. They gradually let people wind down from the holidays. I'm done with Christmas music for this season.

I find wintertime so dreary Christmas music just feels like great medicine to keep my spirits up. I put it away for good by the middle of January.

I am different as usual. No Christmas music for me. But for other reasons. Too many movies. I love other music, as you know.

Do you watch a lot of Christmas movies instead of the music then? I find wintertime so dreary Christmas music just feels like great medicine to keep me cheery. I put it away for good by the middle of January. Then it's onto putting a new jig saw puzzle together.
