January 11 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today has been a good day. By that I mean, better than yesterday. My headache is gone, and I'm left feeling very cold and as if I've been in the fight of my life. Every cell in my body feels like it's taken a beating. So ...
I'm thankful I'm feeling much better. I've spent the better part of the day watching TV and resting. I did take a nap earlier which helped. I'm eating without feeling like I'm going to be sick, so that's a plus. Now to get rid of this extreme cold feeling and I will be back to normal.
I won't be going to the pool yet tomorrow, even if the temps are back in the normal range for this time of year. Hopefully, I'll be back at the pool by Thursday. We'll see.
I'm thankful I got the notifications finished earlier. It's the best part of my day when I can enjoy it with you.
That's been my day. Getting better and back to my normal happy self.
What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image is the next picture of my poinsettia taken today. You can see it's doing very well. I think the buds are leaves.

I'm so glad to hear that you're feeling better and you're able to eat without nausea. My thoughts are, you had a flu-bug of some kind. Being cold, that's often a part of it, too.
Yes, those buds are leaves, those petals will naturally fall off each plant.

Not yet they won't. They're still growing. I expect a nice-looking poinsettia by the time it's done growing, just like it was when I first bought it.
Thank you. I'm glad I'm feeling better too. I'm sure it is a flu bug. I haven't had the flu in many years, not like this that lasted for several days. Usually, I get over it in a matter of hours.

@kobesbuddy I remember being so sick I couldn't get out of bed without crawling. It was difficult to put my dog outside.

@just4him I haven't had the flu in quite a few years. When I was working at Tawas Village, I got the bronchial flu virus that was going around. I had never been that sick, in my entire life! I spent two solid days at home, in bed. I never called in sick, but that time I certainly did.

Thankful you are feeling better and hopeful tomorrow you will be back to normal.
Very thankful my friend stopped by another of her friends house today. That girl wasnt feeling good and my friend smelled gas. Everyone is safe and her friend is feeling better after getting oxygen. It could have been a totally different ending.
Also thankful to be typing this while sitting in front of the pellet burner. I moved stuff today

@wolfgirl569 I'm so glad your friend stopped by another friend's home and everything is now good. I take it she notified authorities about the gas leak.

It has been a nice day here. I am feeling chilled, but I believe it is fatigue. Yes, heating pads feel great. I actually have a heated mattress pad on my bed. I hope you are back to your old self really soon.

It's nice to know you are feeling better. 
Today, I'm thankful because we've been receiving good meals and blessings from our neighbor who's having her birthday today.
Thank you, to my sister who is based in Israel who ordered a sack of rice online and had it delivered to us.
Thank you, I was finally able to find a small number balloon for me to prepare for my birthday tomorrow.
Thank you, I've started my intermittent fasting. My first meal was 12noon and my last meal was 5pm. I'm trying to loose weight,
