Good Morning 1/14

Well, I guess most people have heard another storm is quickly approaching it should be here by Sunday AM. Oh Joy..
. At least we have more time to prepare this time. I think the chances will will lose power again are very high..as there are to be strong winds again with this. I know that the power company still has some of the out of state contractors around though as I have seen their trucks. That would help I guess. I am going to call them today I think..and remind them there is someone on oxygen here, and we are to get power back ASAP. Roomie was down to his last tank as the machine he uses to create oxygen runs on electric power. I did buy an emergency stove, and I have a lantern. My cell is available now with mobile internet which should help, and I am going to try to get some kind of battery operated heater if possible. Pray for us..The temps will be slightly better this time and alot of the snow with luck will melt on Monday.
Nico somehow got a shopping bag handle around his neck. I thought he was carrying it like his prey...but nope..luckily it was not a plastic one. I was able to get it off him, although at first he was hiding from me. Silly kitty. I think he enjoyed the storm to a certain extent. He got a lot of cuddle time with Mommy. Stay safe, have a good day!

I hope that the storm will not hit your area.
Cats are silly creatures, Gevi was inside this morning, the cat of the neighbor wanted to get in too, he jumped on a bag of plastic bottles I had to bring to the recycling bin, he got scared, Gevi got scared, they wanted to get out and the door was closed... well it was comic.

They are silly, and it takes very little to spook them. whenever anything it unfamiliar to Nico, he strikes it with his paw to see if it moves. It's pretty funny..

@snowy22315 - Poor Bubi, the noise the plastic bottles did frightened him, his eyes were so big. Gevi was less stressed, but he also wanted to rush out.

No, but one good thing is that Sunday here looks to be warmish and the snow will probably mostly melt..however, it will freeze again at night..which is bad too.

Oh it will Ocean, we will be extremely lucky if the power stays on. The temps will be warmer Monday so hopefully most of it will melt.

We are getting the starts of that same storm now I believe.
The temperature has dropped over the course of the day and we have had a freezing mist earlier today.
Everything is slippery.
It should be an interesting, not wonderful, weekend.
I'm glad that we have myLot.

Yeah, if, and it is a big if the power stays on...but with luck if t goes off, I can use my mobile internet this time.

I hope the storm isn't as bad as they're saying it might be. I certainly hope you don't lose power again. That's my biggest fear when a storm like that is predicted.

Yes, and I think you will have extreme cold up there for one or two nights. One night here it will be very cold but Sunday the temps will be above freezing and should melt alot of the accumulation. How much snow are they predicting in your region? Parts of the area here will see alot, but since we are further east..I am thinking it may stay on the low side here.
