I Will Go to the Market

A friend of mine is still sick. After his booster shot, he got COVID symptoms, fever and cough.
As of the moment he only have cough. Three of them got sick. No one can go out to buy their essentials.
I am very near their house so I volunteered to buy stuff for them. He was my roommate in Manila and now he is back in the same province since the lockdown was imposed in 2020.
He sent me list of the things I will buy. Last week, I went out to buy meds and vitamins. He said he needs some as well. I bought a bottle of honey, garlic, calamansi and tylenol (since bioflu and biogesic are out of stock) and hand carried it to his place.

I feel bad because right after posting this, he messaged me that he will do the grocery when he gets better.

That is very nice of you to dk that for him and those with him sick. Yes it does happen for some people they get Covid after getting a Covid shot. Most likely he already had Covid before he got his shot and gave it to others and having the vaccinate while being sick and not knowing yet it’s like a double hit. I do hope he feels better as well those with him.
I’ve done it many times where I’ve had to have family bring food or me do car pick up where I have someone form the store put in the trunk of my car. I had to do that last week when my husband and I where sick with colds.

I think so that was the reason. He was with her sister when they had the 3rd shot. The third member of his family is his niece who is unvaccinated.

@jobelbojel well it wasn’t help since I have to kind of feed my kids even when I’m sick. It’s not hard to get Covid when your with other or need to go out. The in unvaccinated part doesn’t matter. Even when vaccinated you can still get sick the shot just shortens how long you will have it and your symptoms.

Yes, vaccinated or unvaxx are all vulnerable to the virus. As what you said there is a difference.

We're all having to help friends and neighbors right now. It's tough when you need something but can't go out to get it yourself.
