January 16 - What I'm Thankful for Today

I'll start off with yesterday. Last night I was watching TV when I saw something out of the corner of my eye outside. I looked and stared as it disappeared into the trees. I must say, it was bigger than I expected, but no doubt I knew what I was looking at with that distinctive white tip on its tail. A fox. I've never seen a fox in person before so this was something for me. I hope I'll see it again. I didn't even know they were in Wisconsin. It happened too fast for me to grab my camera.
Okay, for today. This is the day the LORD has made and I will REJOICE and be GLAD in it.
I'm thankful I got to church this morning. I warmed up the car for a full half-hour before I left. The wind chill was -11 F. It was a good service, good interaction.
I'm thankful I got all the notifications finished just now. It's wonderful spending time visiting with you.
Okay, that's my day. I haven't done much more than go to church and interact here. Snow is due to start soon. That of course will make me happy.
What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

I just opened my back door and took a photo of an evergreen tree in my yard. I thought you'd like to see it.
Out my back door. Photo is mine.

@just4him Thank you. You're very welcome.
I'm hoping the snow/ice will all disappear today. Our predicted temp was changed last night to 41F today. I hope it's right.

I had a fairly good morning, similar to yesterday. Prayer time was good and Bible study is in Proverbs. Solomon wrote some very wise instructions for men in Chapter two, but he didn't follow it himself.

@just4him Solomon had 1,000 wives, yet he forewarned men about immoral women.

@kobesbuddy He had 300 wives and 700 concubines. They weren't all his wives.
He warned his son about immoral women.

I already posted about it, but this morning's rain. And, how Chilly responded to the heavy rain and wind gusts. And, of course, my husband, George, making it home safe and sound.

I'm glad you enjoyed the rain. I'm glad the cat had fun with the rain. I'm glad George got home safely.

I'm glad to know what you did for today. I'm thankful for surviving each day. Everyday I feel some kind of difficulty. I feel a little sick or depress everyday

pretty picture. You are lucky you saw a fox. I never see one in person either. A guy that lives in CT posted on his blog some pictures of foxes he had seen in person. We had snow and ice Sunday so no church service.

That would have been neat to see in person!
Oh wow, negative 11 temps are awful! Hopefully it will warm up some!

I think fox are about everywhere. They look pretty tall but especially this time of year are almost all fur.
Thankful for a good Monster today all things considered.
