Dead asleep

My right hand is dead asleep. Could be carpal tunnel, but both my doctor and I are convinced that there is something more.
I am making all kinds of typing errors and my hand is painful, so I will not spend much more time on the computer this morning. It is usually better by afternoon.
With my new medicare advantage plan I receive $50 credit for OTC items through their website. I ordered some arthritis compression gloves this morning.
I am still waiting for the nerve conduction study to be set up. That will tell us more.
This happens even when I am sleeping, and sometimes it is both hands. This is why I am not online very much anymore.

@GardenGerty I didn't have surgery but I did have some injections in my wrist and had to wear braces on them at night. I still use them from time to time when my hands hurt from overusing them.
I know a couple of people who did have surgery. One had to have it again but there were 10-15 years in between the surgeries. and our Pastor had it a couple of years ago and seems to be getting along well now.
I will be praying for you which ever you need to have, the shots or the surgery.

They have not arrived yet. I have a different type of brace a doctor had me use about ten years ago. I can sleep with it for about halfthe night and it helps. I tried using it while typing and it made my hand hurt.

It would be nice. It does not seem to bother me in the work day, after I have warmed up so to speak.

This is the first I have told her about it, as it has gotten really persistent.

Me too, as the doctor thinks this is more than carpal tunnel.

Oh dear sounds like you have got a nerve trapped somewhere. It is horrible. Hope they can find out where it is.

That is what my doctor thinks. This nerve conduction study is supposed to help find out where.
