Slow Cooker Vegetable Soup

Making a pot of vegetable soup in my slow cooker. So good this time of year. I will also make cornbread when it is done. I am planning to share a bowl with my neighbor. It will give me a chance to check on him again today. A beautiful sunshine day so far. I went out and got the ice out of the bird feeder, as usual. And put out more peanuts for them. They should all be happy. The cats enjoyed the sunshine earlier. Now they are back to napping.

Your neighbour is so lucky to have you living beside him.

My hubby adores my vegetable soup, I haven't made any in a few weeks, but now you've planted the idea so we'll see how long before I make some. Enjoy it.

Sounds, and looks, very nice. I make soup on a Tuesday for me and my Mum, but I make it in a soup maker. On my soup maker there are different modes for smooth, chunky, drinks and blend. So you can choose if you want your soup smooth or chunky, and if you chose smooth and it didn't blend as much as you wanted you can use the blend mode to finish it off. And of course you can make drinks using the drinks mode but I haven't tried that yet. And on Wednesday and Friday I have the left over soup from the Tuesday.

Bread and soup is something that I too thoroughly enjoy. Yes, the birds would be very happy indeed! My overall activity count number dip mystery was solved by admin. Someone removed many of his/her old discussions and as I had responded to many of them, my activity count also dipped.

Cats are smart, they know the importance of naps. Mike and I were able to take on in between church services. I surely needed it. Vegetable soup makes a wonderful meal
