My Granny Aged 103 is...

...starting not to eat foods and cannot ambulate this month. My heart is breaking because we cannot see her since she is living with my evil aunt in another city. I received the message from my younger sister. According to her, she and two cousins of mine will visit her tomorrow. Among all her grandchildren, I am one of her favorites. The sad part is I cannot just pack my things and visit her instantly. I missed her for being a groovy soul in the family. Are you sometimes in a situation wherein you cannot decide right away? I'm sorry, Shavkat. I wish you could go visit your grandma. It sounds like she needs all the support she can get now.

I think you are so right. My evil aunt asked them to come. For the reason that she might bring back the energy to live longer in this chaotic world at present.

@Shavkat And it's possible that, once grandma sees everybody, that's what will happen, too. You just never know.

I hope your aunt will allow your sister to do a video call while they're visiting so that you and your grandma can at least see and hear each other.

This is the best advice. A video call from them will really make a difference. I hope your aunt will permit it.

I was well that's to say my husband and I were with my late mother-in-law. Thanks to restrictions, loctdowns and the like. And no visitors and such. My husband didn't want to make the drive, to see his mother through a glass door.

Probably but my family knows better just cater to me because if you do not I will show up and visit the coolest grandma ever.So snaky of them to do to you. You best follow my advice and best part whatch how much power she has over them all, as she destroys them because they did not let her favorite come and visits. Why my family knows better.

@merrybelle2021 Don't worry. She is fine financially because of the grant and the rest of her shares when we sold the old house. Pension? Nope. She stayed in the USA and the pension stopped when coming back home to our country.

@Shavkat That's great. Do they send it as a check or deposit the whole amount to her bank/pension account? I hope your grandma was able to benefit from that significant amount.

I have this bad thinking that she might drift away soon. With her old age, it is not bad to think this way. I even told my younger sister about it.

Yes many times we are stuck in such situations but that's not good you should take some time out of your busy life and see her. She is already 103 years and anything can happen to her that's why you should meet her as you said you are her favorite grandchild, she will be happy to see you.
