Rockefeller Center, Surgery, See Ya

Sorry, but I don’t want to leave you hanging. I was merrily myLotting when the painter arrived. I can’t stand the fumes, so went upstairs to read.
Our granddaughter was invited to skate in Rockefeller Center in New York City this evening. We watched it through a link our son sent. So proud of our Ice Princess!
But tomorrow, I’m scheduled for cataract surgery. I’m getting my eyeball lasered. The doctor called this morning to ask how I was doing and if I had any last minute questions. I’m just nervous. If all goes well, I will get my other eye lasered next Thursday. Had soooo many appointments just for this. Shall be done March 15th
Hope I can literally SEE you soon.

Goodluck on that laser appointment. I am sure that everything will be for your own good. Please update us what happens after your laser surgery.
Seeing Rockefeller Center brings back old memories when I was also there exploring that place. I just got the feeling of wanting to return to that place once again and see and feel the place again.

@DianneN I hope the laser went ok for you. But I think since you can now type in and just waiting for healing then I would assume that everything went well with you.
Yes, we never skated there as well just took a picture and explored the place. I think I enjoyed the place pre-pandemic times when everything goes during those times no masks and everything.

Thanks. I’m typing with one eye closed. Will see the doctor for a checkup tomorrow and on Tuesday. It wasn’t as bad as I anticipated.
I hope to return to NYC someday. I remember Rockefeller Center the first time my parents took me there, but never skated.

Oh dear I would be so scared. I wish you the very best of luck. When I wrote dear I got thinking if it’s dear as in your such a kind woman or deer as in the animal. Probably not meaning about an animal with that saying but of course I take things so literally and think too much.

@LindaOHio You scared the heck out of me. My doctor visit was good today. He said everything is normal.
Here’s my necklace. Didn’t want to show it off to the jealous MyLot community. I know who they are.

I bet your granddaughter enjoyed herself.
I have been putting off my cataract surgery. Next month I am making an appointment to get started on that very thing. I don't look forward to it but know it has to be done. Let me know how it goes, will you? Pain and all. I'm very curious.

She performed her Lake Placid routine without judges, so she did a beautiful job and loved skating before an audience.!
The surgery was easier than anticipated, but my eye is a total blur and it feels gritty. That’s supposed to be normal. I didn’t expect so many nurses and two anesthesiologists. Check up tomorrow.
I get the other eye done next week and will let you know.

I hope so. I can’t see Much of anything now. Saw the doctor today, and he did a retina check. He said my flashes were okay and checked my retina, which is also okay. He did tell me I could have a Friday date night martini
