Peach Cobbler For My Neighbor

Checked on my neighbor today. He was at his mailbox. And he is much better. Still on antibiotics. He has the flu. But feeling better thankfully. I cooked a peach cobbler for him. Thought it would make his day. Took it over to him after it cooled. He was so happy. And it of course made my day as well. Those little things are such an important part of my life. I hope it is yours as well. Photo is mine.

@LadyDuck Yes and this recipe calls for using the thick syrup as well. Not healthy but good.

Yes he loves this cobbler. He said they gave him a Z-pac (antibiotics) just to be sure he didn't have any infections. He is 80 y/o and has heart conditions. And has been sick almost a month now.

I enjoy sharing baked goods with friends and neighbors, too. A good neighbor is a gift, we never know if and when we will need each other. I bet it was delicious.
