3 unrelated things on my mind

First, I would never have thought that I would stop liking cow's milk and only like to drink almond milk. But, that's what has happened. I only like almond milk. I substitute it for everything, whether it be to drink, use on cereal or cook with. Second, as I've gotten older, I have noticed more spaces between my teeth. Any kind of food gets trapped. I have to pick my teeth after each meal. I have to carry those plastic teeth picks in my purse at all times and keep one in the kitchen at all times. Third, I found a recipe online the other day for Rustic Leeks and Potato soup. It was good. The reason I was looking for a recipe with Leeks is because my husband ordered Leeks when he was ordering vegetables for our last Misfits Box. We hadn't bought Leeks in awhile. So I was looking for something to cook them with. I hope you all have a good weekend.

I actually was never a milk drinker and had to force myself to drink it for the nutrients. However, when I discovered almond milk, I loved the taste and the fact that it has more calcium than cow's milk was an added bonus.

I have felt the same way. When I was younger and drinking cows milk, I preferred chocolate milk.

I wonder. Since I can't chew nuts anymore I wonder if I might enjoy almond milk.

I still use cow's milk for most things, but for breakfast I use almond milk. It goes very well with oatmeal, I think

I prefer almond milk, for me it is healthier than cow's milk - but it is so expensive.

I love leeks! Yes me too about the teeth..such a pain as I have aged. I can no longer drink cows milk either..I dont know why..now I buy lactose free half and half for coffee. It has little to no sugar..no sugar for me, it wreaks havoc on my body.

It's not the age for your teeth, but the lack of calcium. Almond milk does not contain enough calcium, your teeth are getting thinner.

I haven't had cow's milk in years. It's bad for us. Love almond milk, too. My dentist told me that can happen as we age. I must try that rustic leek and potato soup. It sounds wonderful!

We've been using Almond Milk for several years now. We both like it better than cow's milk. (But we don't drink milk, either.)

I drink oat milk often …it’s nice and thick and has a good flavour. I too have noticed food gets stuck in my teeth nowadays.
