February 19 - What I'm Thankful for Today and Yesterday's Health Report

Okay, this will be the short version. I can't sit here much longer. My back isn't happy with me. I know it's all the exercise from the past week. I like pushing my limits. I'm thankful the laundry is finished. I only need to put it away. I'm so happy I could spend time with my son. I watched him play video games and we talked. We thought about getting a pizza, but the wait time wasn't worth it. I'm thankful the roads weren't bad this morning. I took my time getting there as I could see rounding corners could have been bad. I'm thankful the -15 F wind chill didn't feel too bad this morning. It's now 15 with a 1-degree wind chill. We're having a heatwave. Tomorrow we literally will when we get up to 47 F or warmer. Then we slam back down and have snow in the forecast for Monday and Tuesday. They're talking inches for a change. Okay, now for the health report. Weight - 192.8 - Down from 193.6 Food Breakfast Calories: 365 Fat: 8.4 Sodium: 46 Potassium: 631 Carbs: 62 Sugar: 17 Protein: 13.8 Lunch Calories: 530 Fat: 30 Sodium: 820 Potassium: 1076 Carbs: 12 Sugar: 6 Protein: 48 Supper: Calories: 300 Fat: 5 Sodium: 125 Potassium: 620 Carbs: 59 Sugar: 26 Protein: 7 Snack Calories: 117 Fat: 4.6 Carbs: 25.2 Protein: 8.4 Grand Total Calories: 1312 Fat: 48 Sodium: 991 Potassium: 2327 Carbs: 158.2 Sugar: 49 Protein: 77.2 My calories are going down. Exercise Swimming - 40 Minutes Leg Press - 100 - 5 Minutes Elliptical - .60/153 Stationary Bike - 2.97/89 Exercise Class Video - 30 Minutes Total exercise - 115 Minutes Okay, that's what I'm thankful for and my health report for yesterday. The calories are going down and so is the weight. -- marvelous! Sure you aren't doing too much exercise? Thankful for another blessed day.

You are doing well, but I think there is too much potassium in your diet. If you take diuretics this can be dangerous.

@just4him Too much potassium causes cramps and muscles pain, as a matter of fact the same symptoms as too low potassium.

I looked at what the average was for potassium and I'm right where I need to be. I worried about it too a few days ago and looked it up. I don't take diuretics.

The minimum sodium is 500 mg. When I kept it that low, I had leg cramps so I upped it to 1000. No more problems. Potassium is supposed to be in the 1500-2500 range, so I'm doing well with that too.
