Actually he did not want that until I mentioned "peach dump cake" so I made one, and some brownies. I did insist he drink his nutritional drink and before bed have peanut butter and crackers.
I may make sausage gravy this morning to tempt him.
Oh, and he wants a banana split tonight!

@just4him Sometimes it is hard to do. He is also not wanting to eat many of the things he usually likes.Like potatoes.

@GardenGerty Yeah, peaches are yummy. Up until I was (almost) 13, we had several peach trees in our back yard, as well as pear, plum and apple.

sounds like you are getting him to eat . That's good. My daughter has the same problem with me and it makes things harder that she also has to work at her job.

@GardenGerty My daughter just knows what I like and what will agree with me. That helps. She brings the food and sits it in front of me and tells me I need to eat so the pills won't hurt my stomach etc.

@GardenGerty - I do not like sugar a lot, I drink my coffee without sugar, I do not like candies, but I like chocolate and some cakes and pastries.

Peach dump cake certainly sounds good!! In fact everything you mentioned sounds good to me even that nutritional drink Hope he is tempted by the sausage and gravy

The only one he actually had was the peach dump cake. Normally he does not want desserts. We lean more towards sausage dishes and pickled foods, etc. Also almost always fresh fruits. Right now, if he wants something I make it. He is as skinny as a POW.

He is doing well. It is also a problem that he does not like to eat alone. I had to buy more bananas before I could make a banana split.
