We both lost our phones

Reading this discussion by@snowy22315 reminded me that yesterday both my sister and I found our phones missing while in Wal Mart.
I took her shopping, and we got separated when she went to trade the cart she had for a scooter.
After a while I realized my phone was missing when I could not find her and was going to call her. I did realize, however, that I had left it in the car console.
At about that time I was paged to the service desk. She let me know she would have called me but she had lost her phone somewhere. I went to the car and retrieved my phone.
With my phone I retraced her steps, dialing her number, no luck.
In the past she has lost things in a store, like her wallet and even after finding it, has gone into a panic attack that we mistook for a heart attack. Yesterday, she kept reasonably calm.
She decided she might have put it down at home and it was probably there. After calling two of her neighbors to try to get them to use their keys and check, and not being successful with that, we decided to go home. Wal Mart would call her if and when they found it..
It was at her home, right beside her recliner. She was proud she did not get overly upset and have a panic attack. She should have carried a purse, not just her wallet. We will know better next time.
So, I just saw an article about not carrying your cellphone in your pocket or your bra, due to the radiation. Now, I can see carrying it in your pocket, I have...

I had a panic attack once that was mistaken for a heart attack. Glad you both found your phones.

I do those things often on the weekend. Weekdays I have to have my phone to clock in and out.

Me too! I am more laid back than she is. She stresses pretty easily.

Oh, me too. It stresses her out to even think of replacing it.

You know those idiot mittens with the strings attached? Any way of doing the same with phones?

I have friends who have holsters for their phones. I often have a mask on a lanyard around my neck and have considered finding a way to fold a mask to hold my phone.

No, and I doubt she would wear one. I have one or two. She had thought she put it in her pocket, but it was not there, so she immediately thought it had fallen out. My phone was in my pocket until I got in the car. I put it in the console so it would not fall out. I just forgot to pick it up.
