only sleet, what a cheat

In last evenng's wintery weather, we only got sleet. I woke this morning expecting mounds of snow, nope, just icy patches of sleet.
Some places in Kansas got several inches.
The only reason I got up as early as I did is because of Tinker. He must have thought I overslept. He howls and meows.
I was not sure he would go out, but he did, and so did Angel.
Last night I was taking trash out and Tinker darted out. At that time the sleet was sill falling. He made a big circle in the yard and quickly came back in..
I am glad the weather did not stay bad. I am going to get my nerve conduction study this morning.

Thankfully, the storms stopped here before the temperature dropped. It was 22F when I woke and fed my fishies this morning. We still had a lot of wind but nothing else. We aren't going to reach the 35F the forecast showed we'd reach. We only made it to 28F this afternoon.

I was watching the various live “Virtual Railfan” cameras on You Tube last night. I was amazed at how quickly and how MUCH snow piled up in some places in Missouri, Illinois, and Iowa.
The thing about March is we can get six inches of snow today and it’ll be 70 tomorrow and the snow will be gone. I can take that kind of snow.

The year we got married, in March, we had 10 inches on Thursday and it was all gone by Saturday when we got married. Interesting flying weather for his family.

He does like being outside. Actually there is a garage that is not closed up next door and all the local cats hang out in there.
