March 13 - What I'm Thankful for Today

This is the day the LORD has made and I WILL REJOICE and be GLAD in it.
Today has been good, all things considered.
I'm thankful I turned around and came back home when I went to church this morning. The roads were slippery after a night of beautiful snow. The plows were just getting out. I didn't want to end up in the ditch again. I called my leader and he Skyped me into the service. I had just as much input as I normally do when I'm in person. It was great!
I'm thankful I got the Bible Study done. I started it in time to finish before the service, but as sometimes happens, I needed to wait on the Holy Spirit to help me with it. So, it got done and posted after the service today.
I'm thankful for the nap I got. I went to bed on time last night, but that doesn't mean I went to sleep on time. Wouldn't you know it, I have a new book in the works and I was working on it while trying to sleep. I ended up with less than four hours of sleep last night, so the nap felt great. Yes, I also have the title for the new book which will be the first in the New Horizons series. It's called New Horizons: Dominion.

The roads were all covered with snow this morning, in our part of Michigan. I'm glad you turned around and had church at home. Skype is a wonderful service! Be very careful walking outdoors:( We had a nice Sunday, except Jay is trying to finetune our television antenna, to get more channels.

Happy to hear you're safe and sound. I am glad to hear that you were careful, too.
I'm thankful that the house warmed up nice. I'm also thankful the weather wasn't so bad. I am also thankful my husband has two days off before he has to return to work, so he can adjust to the time change. The first twenty-four hours are the worst. I'm thankful, I've stopped dealing with that after I left the Conklin center, seeing as I am not a morning person.

@just4him I find it hard sometimes, but I like to think positive. So finding something isn't hard as it seems.

It was 63F and sunny here today.
All the clocks in the house set themselves. That was nice.

@just4him The microwave is in a corner and we can't see it unless we're using it. I've never set the time on it.

@DaddyEvil I have two of them in my kitchen. One is mine, the other came with the apartment. I also have a clock above the sink and a stove clock. I have a double-sided clock in the living room and my clock radio.

It was great you got all the Bible Study done as usual ,though the snow prevented you from going to church.

@just4him They might be. Havent heard if they have fully passed it in congress yet.
