Lovely Day

At least mostly. When Monster wasnt throwing a fit about food. After I ate and went outside leaving her with Pawpaw she decided to eat I went out while she took her nap and got another load out of the barn. It is looking a lot better now. Pulling the wagon was easier today. We are slowly drying up outside. But I still got a good workout. At least I didnt lose my shoes in the mud today While waiting for her to eat I got around the chicken coop cleaned up some. I threw all of that in the pond. I dont want Monster knowing it is there. So I do that stuff when she isnt with me. When we all 3 went out we got limbs picked up from the ice storm a few weeks ago. As you can see Monster was helping with that. Then she played with George horse some and then with dinosaurs. While she was playing I got some more lights hung up outside. I also figured out some of my decorating for summer. We seen 7 deer by the woods across the road. Monster watched them for a little bit. Then we came in and she got M&Ms as a treat. I did some shopping too. By Friday I need to go pick my Joann fabrics order up. I know the next hoodie I make Monster will fit her good. It will be big on her even. Hope your day was good also.

Did Monster want to go outside that badly or is Pawpaw better at getting her to eat than you are? Why do you throw chicken litter in the pond? I KNEW it! You're a slave driver! Just look at that poor, abused Monster spending all her life slaving away for you! At least you can't stop her from enjoying seeing the deer while she's slaving away. Wait! You pay her with M&Ms? Where do I sign up? I spent part of my day asleep. I did finish one of the manuscripts I was editing this afternoon. I've sent it to the author for review. Hopefully, she'll make the suggested changes without arguing with me too much. We shall see. Two more manuscripts to go.

That badly. Pawpaw gets mad too easy sometimes. Because the pond has dried mostly up. So I an starting to fill it with anything I can. See I am not a bad slave driver M&MS are a wonderful payday. But she is enough help. Hope she does the changes. At least if they make sense.

@wolfgirl569 Oopsie! Yeah, better to eat than make Pawpaw upset. Oh, I see... Okay, at least that makes sense. The ponds on our property were fed by underground springs. They never dried up. I might change my mind about signing up... if Pretty would stop taking my candy, at least. I bought a bag of Reece's Peanut Butter Eggs a couple of weeks ago. I've been eating two of them every few days. I still had half the bag left when Pretty raided my bedroom for snacks when I was asleep this afternoon. She left the empty bag for me. Changes I suggest always make the book better. She can choose not to make them and get panned if she wants. *shrug* After I get paid, I don't care what the author does. (Authors that don't make suggested changes aren't allowed to list me as the editor. If they do, I go in and explain the author refused to make suggested changes. )

@wolfgirl569 I can't believe she's ever a brat. But I'm glad they played together today. That's too bad. Mosquitoes love it when the fish die in a pond. She didn't ask! We were just in Walmart yesterday and I asked if she wanted anything. She said she didn't! She was searching my room for soda this afternoon, too. She said she didn't need any yesterday. I have to protect my reputation as an editor. If I allowed people to use my name after they refused to make the necessary changes, I wouldn't get any more manuscripts to edit. Nobody would trust my work.

Monster does not like to be left alone with Pawpaw, better that she learns to eat and quickly. I see that at least she was a good helper with those limbs.

I miss seeing deer in our yard but too many dogs have sent them elsewhere. Maybe they will start coming back around one day. Now you have me wanting M&M's!! I have a snack size Baby Ruth, that will have to do.

I have had deer stand and watch my dogs bark at them But most people do keep their dogs up here. Sorry. I got these for 2 dollars a bag last Friday. I will try throwing a bag your way as I got 7 of them.

@wolfgirl569 The stray dogs here are abandoned by hunters in the woods. Wish they would quit leasing land to them; but they won't since it is easy money for them. Good deal on the M&M's!

@kareng We have had some of those. Some get caught and sent to the pound. Others end up shot when they start bothering livestock. So either way they dont last too long.

You all had a lovely day for the most part. By the time the really nice weather rolls around you'll have the barn and the yard all cleaned up and you will be ready to enjoy sitting outside-thinking up your next project.

I enjoyed my day at work today since withing 13 days it will be moving time from my current home to another home since due to the decay of the houses in the neighborhoods, the housing authority will tear down the houses to rebuild.

Love the picture of Monster helping with the limbs Sounds like things are busy at your house and more outside work as spring comes along. I haven't sewn in a long time but I do love all the fabric choices at Joanns

We saw a racoon on the way back from the beach earlier. It was weird. I did some shopping today too, Target, Walmart and Dollar Store. Spent too much money, but that happens way easier now that crap is so expensive.

Raccoons are normal here. But if they get close to the chicken coops they get killed. It is way too easy to spend money now.
