Summer Plans?

Yes l know, it is kind of early to be thinking of summer - but no harm in planning ahead , while hoping that nothing drastic happens to derail those plans.
For me, l would love to go on a road trip. I would visit many scenic places I haven't been to in many years.
I am also looking forward to this year's World Games which runs from July 7 to 17..
I am an ardent track and field fan, and my hope is that the world will be back to some semblance of order by then.
Any summer plans you'd like to share?

Too early to think about summer? Hmm. Not for a guy like me who is anal retentive about money. So, I tend to think about it just for the fact I want to set up my summer budgets.
The big deal is going to be our weeklong trip to Florida in the panhandle. Got a house rented on the beach so that should be rewarding and fun. Looking forward to some of the festivals starting back up this year now that Covid seems mostly behind us. Got a couple of short trips I want to do.
I am hoping this summer shapes up to be a good one because the last couple years have kind of sucked for a variety of reasons.

@Kandae11 There will be 13 of us. It's a 5 bedroom house on the beach. Basically it will be my wife and I, plus my mom and her sister, my sister's family, my brother in law's mom and sister and her two kids. We're splitting the cost up by room which makes it a bit easier to digest the cost.

The only ones I am thinking about at the moment is a trip to Tangier island in the Chesapeake Bay. Plus, I have been trying to get back to the Outer banks in NC for the past several years..and it is not even that far away. It seems like they always have hurricanes going on down there. Maybe before it gets too hot or the season gets in swing I can go. I would have gone last year but the ferries were closed due to Covid.

@Kandae11 I hope so, but I wouldn't count on it.

I like to be as surprised as anyone else when it comes to my summer plans.
I’ll probably play in a couple of miniature golf tournaments if my back will let me. And travel….I still have seven states I haven’t made it to yet!!!!

I told Pretty a few days ago that I wanted to run away... but that doesn't have anything to do with Summer.

@Kandae11 I don't do the same things every day. Sometimes I play on myLot. Sometimes I watch videos. Sometimes I'm editing manuscripts. Sometimes I'm asleep...

A road trip sounds like fun. I might have one in the future. My friend mentioned it a couple of months ago. I think we're both addicted to Washington Island. It's such a beautiful place to visit. If not there, at least up to Door County. Door County is the arm of Wisconsin when you look at the state. Washington Island is at the top of the arm. You get there by ferry.
Enjoy the games.

One of my plans for this summer is to take a trip back to Oregon to see my brother.

I don't have any summer plans as far as going away or vacationing.
But, I do have lots of family things we'll be celebrating....two high school graduations, an 18th birthday, a 21st birthday

Relaxation on a countryside will be nice. I know a lot will think of summer beaches, but for me, there are other scenic nature that could be appreciated for its beauty. Taking night nature walks is nice too.
