"Money, Money, Money" was released in 1976 and was originally titled "Gypsy Girl".
The premise of the song centers around a woman who works hard but can't get ahead. She wants a rich man.
The song hit #1 in several countries, including Australia, but did not do well in the United States. It was #38 on the US Adult Contemporary (Billboard) chart, #56 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and #63 on the US Cashbox Top 100 Singles.

@LindaOHio In the 70s it was a fairy tale. Monaco grew up too much and from the late 80s it had become too crowded, too noisy and the new residents were not as those we had in the past. Anyway I loved the years we lived there.

Not my Abba favorite song. But I could think about many money songs I love, even anti money songs like the one that says that Money can´t buy me love.
