Do you know how hard it is to “weigh” a list of classic songs and put them in some sort of order? The top two on this list of favorites with “help” were easy, but things get bunched up here. Case in point: today’s song is one everyone was looking for. And here it is!
#6: Help Me, Rhonda - The Beach Boys
But of course this was going to show up. I mean, it’s the 60s and The Beach Boys, and harmonies!
A guy gets dumped and turns to another to plead for help in getting over the ditching. It’s simple and it sticks to us like glue.
That’s one of the joys of 60s songs, isn’t it.

Love love love The Beach Boys! Whenever I play their music I’ll sing loudly and dance around. My kiddo looks at me like I’m crazy, But then she joins in it starts dancing with me!

There’s something magical about their music, even sixty years later, isn’t it! Put on a Beach Boys song in the middle of winter, and suddenly it’s summer!

That’s one of the great “secrets” of The Beach Boys. Everyone thinks of Brian Wilson as “the leader,” and he is, but they have Jardine and Mike Love singing the lead on a number of songs (probably because Brian’s stage fright kept him from taking lead 
).

@FourWalls That and his genius in writing a song which fits that particular band member. Some of the ones which featured that angelic voice of Carl's are awesome.

@FourWalls I know some Beach Boys songs. Little Deuce Coupe and In My Room are my favorites. JB covered In My Room at his Live in Anguilla concert. That's how I discovered it.
