Today's Big Chore

I didn't have anything planned for today other than my routine things with the animals such as feeding and watering. The man asked me to help him. I asked what he was doing today. His plan for the day was some yard work cutting down privet that is growing around trees, etc. between the house and the main road.
I said that is fine, I can help. Of course, my part is moving all the cut down pieces out of his way so he can proceed. He doesn't like to have to stop and move something and pick up the weed eater again. He has the blade that can be attached to the weed eater and that does a pretty good job on small things that are no more than 2-3 inches thick.
I got almost everything moved out of the way but did not even try to bring it on the other side of the house and out in the field to the burn pile. I will tackle that on Thursday.

I went to work today and now I plan to finish some chores other than cooking. Laundry is the major one as I have changed the bedsheets in all the three rooms. Those sheets and few towels need to be washed. I even cleaned one bathroom before making lunch

@kareng Oh! I am done with laundry for the coming two days. Next would be on Friday. I still need to iron few loads.

@wolfgirl569 It didn't hit until 4 hours after they said it would. Didn't really matter, the wind was so bad you couldn't do anything outside and not a day to be on the roads!

Work day Monday, day off today to go to the hand specialist. It must be great to work outside with a partner.

Yesterday was nice and boring. Today I’m having lunch, then a walk in the gym, then I’m going to the VA hospital to turn in a bill for reimbursement.

Yesterday I had to clean up throw up three times. My cat (Lily) was sick. I also did some more on my mother's diamond painting. Next week I will finish it and seal it. Today I plan on reading my book, and hopefully order some more diamond painting kits.

You got a lot done! Tuesday is my laundry day. I need dry days for Tuesday, always.
I've got a tiny repair to apt, just rust repair to plumbing areas. It had to be looked at by our handyman to make sure it's only rust problem. On my way to our laundry room, our handyman was speaking with another landlord staff and saw me, so after his talk, he came to inspect what needs to be done. Got this out of the way and we have a tentative appointment time, which landlord office will verify, by calling me. Laundry done. Yesterday, my fedex delivery received. Didn't want to cook for dinner, so went to nearby Marukai, got a 3 piece chicken & rice ball and cooked sweet potatoes.

I worked all afternoon today, and now I plan to prepare our family dinner. It had been a while since we sat down and had a meal together. I've been looking forward to this day! I'm a bit nervous because I'm not a very good cook, but I'm relieved that at least I have my sister by my side to help me. She cooks more often than me, so I'm sure we'll make something edible!
