Cheesecake Request From Neighbor

Was over visiting my neighbor earlier today. The one that has two daughters in college. She is really missing them. They are both doing well. She was trying to figure out a nice dessert to have for a dinner she is cooking this weekend. Of course I mentioned cheesecake. It is a favorite for both of us. When I got home she emailed this photo and ask if I could make one to look like this. I told her sure, if I had all of the ingredients. So off to the store tomorrow to try to find fresh fruit to go with the cheesecake. Wish me luck. I will also be on the lookout for ripe bananas for banana bread cooking soon. Photo from neighbor.

That looks delicious-and I don't like cheese cake!

I think that for Easter Sunday I will make a trifle, it keeps well in the fridge if there is little eaten and I can make it earlier in the morning before anyone arrives.

@CarolDM Its such a no fuss easy dessert, and yet it seems like its appreciated after a big meal better then most desserts that are too heavy.

This looks good, I think they used a chocolate sponge cake to prepare the base. I could make one similar.

@CarolDM - I need fresh berries, I tried once with frozen berries, but they get mushy, they do not look pretty.
