How many times have you been a bridesmaid or best man?

I had been a bridesmaid twice for my good friends. There are two requirements to be a bridesmaid or best man. At first, you shouldn't be a bridesmaid over three times, or you can't get married. Second, you should be single when you are a bridesmaid. Frankly, I don't think these are our own customs. I think we learn it from other countries.

I really don’t think those thing apply here in the U.S. anymore if they ever did. I was never a bridesmaid thankfully as I am so horribly shy about being in front of people.

As a best man, not yet but I was able to attend 4 weddings, 3 of them as groomsmen. And this September my friend invited me to be his best man on their wedding.

We don't have bridesmaids or maid of honor here. Bride and groom only pick best man or woman that will marry them. I was best woman for my best friend :)
