I hope all of you are having a nice Sunday. It's Easter but I don't celebrate it anymore. I remember all the eggs and coloring. It was fun. We were none of us churchgoers. I love a good deviled egg with a little horseradish in it. Tasty.
But, I am trying to stay calm and not get stressed over having to go out tomorrow for my eye appointment. I know it is silly but I haven't been outside since last August(2021). Social anxiety and stress over whether I will have a good transportation experience is my problem.
Are you hiding Easter eggs today? I remember my grandmother having a big easter hunt in her yard. She had a pretty big yard and there were a lot of eggs hidden. Wonder if anyone ever left some out unfound. Hmm.

When dad was still alive, there was always a big Easter egg hunt at our house... All the kids and grandkids showed up and mom and the other ladies made a huge meal. As long as the weather was nice enough, we all ate at the huge table dad built in our front yard and then hunted eggs after we ate.
Sometimes I would find a boiled egg or candy in a plastic egg days or even, weeks, after the hunt. Of course, ants had their feast before I found them but it was still interesting finding an empty shell that long after the hunt.

My family never did the egg hunt thing. But speaking of eggs, I think I'll fry up a couple for my dinner.

I am the same. Unable to go celebrate any more.
I imagine the ones not found rotted away or was eaten by something later.

A lot of animals around if they were smart enough to know what it was.

We had a very quiet and uneventful Easter. Just the two of us.
