Eat Anything You Want Day.

There seems to be a 'day' for almost everything. Today, May 11 is designated "Eat AnythingYou Want Day". The idea behind it is to give one the freedom -- especially those on diets -- to have a blast with any food they desire. I watch what l eat very carefully, but my temptation today would be a combination l haven't tasted in over a decade - a cheeseburger and strawberry milkshake. What would be your choice? What decadent treat would you allow yourself today? By the way, today is also Ego Day.

Hahah you mentioned that combination just the other day. I don't know what I'll make for dinner but dessert will be cheesecake. I have made a blueberry topping and will use a french vanilla syrup in my coffee. A cheeseburger and a strawberry malted sounds pretty darn good.

@Kandae11 Now I have to go to the Farm Store near me to get fresh strawberries and some vanilla ice cream. I decided on cheeseburgers with a strawberry milkshake for dinner. I blame you lol.

@Vikingswest If l don't get mine today when dinner time comes around I'll imagine that's what l am having - when l think about you having yours.

This is every day for me. But my appetite doesn't always cooperate. Cheesecake is always at the top o my list.

I made a pan of cabbage, beef and onions this morning. Pretty and I just started beef stew in the slow cooker about an hour ago. (We stopped at the store this afternoon and bought ice cream cones.) We always eat what we want. *shrug*

@DaddyEvil Corned beef has saturated fat , cholesterol and sodium. I would enjoy the cabbage, carrots and onion just as well without it. My doctor told me l have high cholesterol so l limit my intake of certain foods.

If I could eat anything I wanted today and wouldn't gain any pounds, I would eat a Big Mac from McDonalds, fries, chocolate walnut fudge, and donuts from Krispie Kreme.

Wow! You could have water and fruit the next day to balance it out. My donuts would be Dunkin Donuts.

I'd eat two pieces of fried chicken with French fries. After this, no more greasy foods.

This is actually a tough one to answer for me . . . there's too many things to choose from and I'd want them ALL . Today - I guess I'd be in the mood for Persian or Chinese or Thai food .

I eat what I am in the mood for no matter the month day or year. I've tried diets, but have found denying myself is dangerous.

It's always "eat anything you want day" for me, as long as I go buy what I want to eat, which doesn't happen often. When does "drink anything you want day" take place?

Good thing I didn't know about this day yesterday Actually I indulged in all sorts of goodies on Sunday (mothers day) so I definitely wouldn't need a second day. I love sweets so my choice probably would have been cake or cookies or chocolate A cheeseburger and milkshake certainly sounds good

Wow an entire decade without a cheeseburger or strawberry milkshake that’s a long time and very dedicated. I never deny myself of food but only on special occasions will I drink soda as it makes my face itch and irritates my bladder. I had a soda last night for my stepsons birthday and my husband remarked about me drinking soda.
