I used to have a Polaroid Instamatic camera. What fun it was. You bought some film and took the pictures and could actually develop the picture immediately by just slipping the individual picture under your arm for a few seconds. I remember once my ex and I were roughhousing, playing around the house. I grabbed the camera and took a quick shot of him in a very compromising position. I still have that picture somewhere. The evil in me has to keep it. Did you have one? Image courtesy of Google.

I remember this kind of camera. Although, I didn't have a chance to own this kind, however, I got a chance to operate it when I was a Grade School Librarian.

I still do, but I doubt it would work now. Even if I could buy film for it. I used to shake my photos to get them to develop.

I remember as a young teen saving up to buy my first Polaroid. The model in the picture is similar to my second or third camera.

Yes, I had one of those cameras when Pretty was little. I remember paying $10 for one pack of film for it, which took ten photos. Did you know that kids are using cameras similar to that now? The camera costs $45 and each pack of film is $9 and takes 10 half-size photos.

I still keep a photo album of photos and quite a few are the polaroid kind. Ah, the days of yore. They were fun but no do-overs like todays phones.

I remember how fun it could be with cameras like this. But I wasn't too into it, as you can't store the pictures in a memory card like other digital cameras.
