Friday--dry day

It is a little overcast, but it is not raining. Yay!
Before work today I will finish a textbroker article, and mow some more.
Right now, I am contemplating a cup of coffee, and wishing for a nap.
Hubby is still in bed asleep.
I mowed most of my front yard last evening. Tonight I will mow some more after supper. If it is not too wet I will mow some this morning. All the rain has made everything grow tall and thick. It is a pretty big effort to mow.

I'm glad Pretty got the yard finished a couple of days ago. It sprinkled for several hours last night and is a chilly 53F outside at 8:10 am. It's supposed to be partly cloudy today and warm up to 77F today. That would be nice.
The fat little squirrel ate all the new lettuce growing in the flowerpot on the front porch again, so I'll go out when it warms up a bit and cut wire to go over the pot and see if we can keep him out of it this time. Pretty isn't happy with him at all. (She thinks he believes we're planting it just for him. She scared the crap out of him yesterday. He was digging in that pot for the roots he hadn't gotten yet when she walked up on the porch. He jumped out of the pot and climbed up one of the support posts and then realized she could still reach him with the broom.

@marlina I just cut the wire, she planted more seeds and I put the wire over the pot. Hopefully that'll stop him from bothering the lettuce now.

Our grass has been growing pretty fast too due to the rain. It's nice and a lush green though and looks pretty.
Hope you get your mowing done without too much hassle.

@Marilynda1225 — it was quick and easy. Hardly painless (they charged me the exact same amount as last year, I guess on the assumption that my car IS a car and therefore didn’t devalue), but it’s done now.

Finally got the riding mower back from the shop last night, June 8. However, we have more rain and not enough time to dry out to mow.

I finished up all my blogging and outside it was strange some sun, some clouds, and now the day is ending. The tropical heat is coming to Florida.

@GardenGerty I had tried once moving the Church yard. The mower is clamoring. It stops every now and then. It's overheating.
