Your choice, morning or afternoon

I have let the district and co op know that next year I only want to work half days.
I told them I want to work mornings.
At one point I was questioning that choice, but this taste of summer school has let me know I would prefer mornings.
While it is true that working in the afternoons would mean I could sleep later, and go to work when the sun was up I have been finding it annoying this summer to just really get started on a project, then have to stop, clean up and get ready for work.
So at this time my plan is to go to work in the morning next school year.
I guess other choices would be overnight, but we do not have students in school then.

That is best in my preference Heather..I used to really hate going to work in the afternoons on the second shift..but that is what I got saddled with.
I love mornings and like to get the work over with before the afternoon.

Mornings. I’m not a morning person, but if you work in the afternoon you’re always watching the clock. Maybe it’s the way we’re conditioned (to get up in the morning and go to work), but I preferred it.

If you work in the morning the rest of the day belongs to you to make as many messes as you want and not have to clean up and get to work.

IN extreme cold they delay school or cancel it altogether.

I have had to work other jobs and it is just more tiresome than it is worth.

It really should. It is the one way I kno of to lessen how much of the heavy work I will do next year.

Then when I get home the rest of the day is mine.

I have had friends who preferred overnight work. I have filled in, but it does not fit well for me.

I would pick mornings too. I'd rather get up, go out and then have the rest of the day to do whatever else I want

I am almost always awake early anyway, so I would like to get work out of the way.
