I'm Bothered

Last night, I noticed that the neighbor's dogs are barking, non stop. Unlike the previous nights when they bark, they stop after one to two sequence. But this, was different. I.am not sure if they are hungry or someone is hurting them. They are caged. Maybe they need to go out. I am not concern about my work from home being affected for now since I am not answering calls. But I am bothered why they were so loud. While typing this, they are barking at 8:26 am.

Could you please check on them and see whether they are, okay? I believe that if a dog barks, it is either bothered, crying for help, or aggressive. If they are fine, they would not bark constantly.

@jobelbojel Oh, so that's why they're so noisy; perhaps they can sense strangers wandering around and bark obnoxiously when they do. You should probably get ready for the possibility that you will be their next victim, in my opinion. To ensure that you are at least protected, lock all of your doors, or install additional locks to further secure yourself from them.

@rsa101 I hope that they can't because I am downstairs working so they know that someone is awake. And we have lights outside. After my shoes and my brother's shoes were robbed, we never turned off the light outside.

I go out from time to time because my shift is from 12 am to 9 am. I can hear them bark even up to 3 am and then they stop. Our home is not yet gated and the neighborhood says there are thief roaming around the subdivision. There were cases where houses were looted. I hope that it is not the case in our block and street.

I do not think the dogs will bark for no reason. I hope they are ok.

Oh dear..now that might be something wrong. You are right to notice this Bojel. And I am sorry to hear they are barking sometimes when you have to take calls.

People are worried about the neighbor's dogs, not you! Here, if dogs bark after 10 pm to 6 am, I'd call the police. The neighbor would get a ticket for noise pollution. The neighbor can give the dogs to someone else or the neighbor can keep paying tickets.

If they are continually caged they are probably desperate for a walk or a bit of freedom.
