...is my one front tooth. This is what my salesman student is wishing for. It is obvious that he lost his one front tooth and I cannot focus during the class online. Even though that I told him that it is fine, but I am so disturb and cannot look at him straight away. The bad news is that he cannot have his tooth implant this month. He will have the dental procedure after three months. It means I will be disturbed having classes for the duration mentioned earlier. Can you focus if seeing someone like this? I did do this. It made me distracted whenever he mentioned his missing tooth along the course of the online class.

Very soon you won't notice the missing tooth. (As a matter of fact, when he gets the implant, you will notice the tooth for a few days but then won't notice it anymore.) I used to work with a man who had broken half of a upper incisor off. It was very distracting when I first met him but I didn't notice anymore after I'd worked with him for a few days, maybe a week.

I hope it would happen to me. He, himself is also having this feeling of self-conscious. That makes more noticing it. I even told him to wear a face mask when seeing his clients so that they will not notice it.

@Shavkat Yeah, Pretty lost a front incisor to a failed root canal. She's very self-conscious about it. (We wear the masks any time we're meeting someone, whether they are new-to-us or not.)

Hopefully, you'll get used to this soon but I can understand how hard it is for you to focus.

The funny thing is that he is so conscious while having the class. For this reason, it makes the situation more obvious to look at him.

@Shavkat I can understand his embarrassment about it would affect everyone. Hopefully he will get less conscious of it and so will everyone else.

I know a few people that are missing teeth and I think I got used to it. I don’t even notice it anymore.

I would not mind if they are senior citizens with missing teeth.

I also feel the same way, but no need to show him or her up close. I might offend him or her.
