I Spent 5 Dollars

For that I got 6 more beef sticks and a very pretty reddish lily. If I get it planted tomorrow I will take a picture. I also got 3 dollars for my eggs. So really I only spent 2 dollars today. Had fun mostly just visiting today.
Was sitting here hoping I was hearing thunder. But when I looked someone north of us is setting off fireworks. I hate to see them do that as we have been very dry here. So hopefully nothing catches fire.
Speaking of that we didnt get any rain again today. But it has cooled down some. I went out earlier and see I can get another round of mulberries picked. So if it isnt too hot after the auction tomorrow I will go do that. The grapes that are growing out there are not getting very big. So later this year I will cut those down. That will be less work than keeping them trimmed enough not to kill the trees I want to keep.
Hopefully those puppies are not at the auction tomorrow or I might get in trouble. 
But the Amish do like to take them places like that.

@wolfgirl569 We are only having problems this year, no gas, no grains, no rain and the hail last week destroyed local crops, what a wonderful year!

I think they are sweet but cant think of any other berries to compare them to. They are unique and some people dont like them.

@wolfgirl569 I guess my husband has never had them. Our really big tree on the property has not produced for several years, and maybe the little ones out back do not seem to have produced. They used to. We used to have the purple poop on our cars.

You did good at the auction! I can send you some rain. After what we got today, we are good for a few days. However, it should be raining all day again tomorrow. It is already slip and slide outside in the dog's area and also trail to chicken coops. I am hoping it is nice Sunday or at least no rain! I need to get out to the flea market and reset everything. I wanted to do that this week, but it kept getting put off.
Can't wait to see your new puppy tomorrow!!

@wolfgirl569 No flea market today!! My cousins did their family day with a BQ today. They forgot to call and give me the date so we got a night before phone call and my hubby said we are going so end of flea market. I have boutique on the agenda for Monday so I'm going to sleep in on Tuesday!!

I wish it would come here. Love those kind of walks to go do chores.
Hope you get to the flea market. I wish we had one here. Even if I had to go stay with it.

I agree about it being dry, but we had a massive storm come through and it rained pretty hard for a good hour, so I'm thankful for that.

We can hear fireworks exploding but, of course, there's too many trees for us to see any of the show at this house. Someone is shooting something off here, too.
The forecast is saying rain is a possibility this weekend but mostly just cloud cover... (It was 92F here today, so I'm hoping the rain will bring that down a bit but the forecast says not. We're looking at 97F to 104F this weekend.
You need to hang onto every penny to buy George a friend.

I could just see these threw some of the trees. Bunny doberman wasnt happy about them. But not as bad as she is about thunder.
Chance of rain a few different days here. But the storms keep going around us.
When it grows some he can play with it. They get good sized.

We had a nice rain over night and this morning. Now it is sticky. I got some fence posts removed because the ground is soft, so that was pleasing.

Ohio decided to allow them for a few days around the fourth. Commercial ones still need someone licensed. But more are allowed now. These were not legal but has never stopped people anyways

I't been dry since it didn't rain for almost a week. It is a problem when it rains a lot for longer hours. During rainy season, people get stuck at home--can't go anywhere for fear of drowning. Most roads are submerged, sometimes almost a meter deep.
