I thought it may be a suicide attempt

So there I was walking down the stairs to the train platform when I noticed a person lying on the opposite train tracks, staring up at the sky. The first thought that popped into my head is that this dude (from a distance I thought it was a guy) is trying to commit suicide by getting run over by a train. When I finally made it down the stairs I realized this was a female and most likely a teen. She was just lying on the tracks like she was lounging by the pool. There was another young female sitting on the bench holding her phone. It seemed to be pointed at the girl on the tracks. Perhaps she was filming her. I was hoping I wasn't going to see or hear the train coming her way. I did not want to witness what may end up happening. All of a sudden the girl got up from the tracks and tried to climb up onto the platform. Then she either was unsuccessful or changed her mind because she went under the platform and popped up from the barrier side of it. She wasn't able to climb over the barrier so she walked to where the stairs were and climbed over the railing and back onto the platform. All the while the other girl had her phone pointed at her. Luckily, there was no train coming her way. I wonder what possessed her to do such a stupid and dangerous thing... Did she want to get herself on TikTok for 15 seconds of fame? Or did she think that what she was doing was funny? Either way it was dumb.
