I have gotten some little things done, but not as much as I should.
Today I will give a double unit of red cells at the blood drive. It has been too long since I have done so.
Last time they were in town I had been bitten by a student and had broken skin. That is not a good thing before blood donations.
The time before that I had a cold, and sore throat.
To give with the Red Cross there is quite a bit of screening and some tests. You fill out forms and get a QR code to bring with or print out.
I got that done.
I am planning a hot meal for one of our times today, even though it is also hot outside. I have ground beef thawed that needs to be cooked and zucchini and yellow squash, so cook I must.
Bob lost his debit card and is going to McPherson to get a replacement, rather than wait two weeks for it to be mailed.
I am washing bedding today, for my biggest chore.

Kudos for giving blood. What age are your students that you were bitten? I hope you have a good day.

The student is nine, almost ten. He is non-verbal, and sometimes he just instinctively bites if your arm or something is close to his mouth. I had just diapered him and had him standing leaning over my arm so I could pull up his jeans, and it just happened, but he got a really good grip. I like to give blood.

Hate it when I lose any of my cards. I had my debit card confiscated twice because of odd transactions when all the time it was me. I use my debit card all of the time. No cash.
I can't give blood anymore. My veins are too small.

I slept from around 7 am until about noon today. I needed to take Pretty to the doctor and then we went grocery shopping.
It's HOT here. It was 102F at 2 pm when we left for the doctor's office but had dropped clear down to 100F by the time we got home at 5:30 pm.
I hope you had a good day.

@GardenGerty We hit 102F today. Pretty went out long enough to water the plants (I filled up buckets of water for her.) and then we both stayed inside after that.
I keep a quart bottle of water by me at all times so I can sip from it whenever I feel the need. (I usually drink 3/4 to a gallon of water in a day.) But, I also spend the majority of my time in the A/C, too.

Here, if you are healthy and not on certain medicines I think they will take it as long as you offer.
