Didn’t make it to 95

I found out on fb a few days ago that my aunt’s mom had passed away. She died a day shy of her 95th birthday. It’s very sad that she didn’t get to celebrate her milestone. It’s impressive living that long. I don’t think any of my grandparents lived to that age. She must have gone through a lot of things in her lifetime. Seen and experienced so much. I thought my dad would live that long but he didn’t even make it to his 71st birthday. At least he got to celebrate his milestone birthday when he turned 70.

I am sorry for the mom of your aunt. My maternal grandparents both lived up to their late 90s mom arrived to celebrate her 97th birthday. I am sorry your father did not make to his 71st birthday.

@lovebuglena - I understand very well, we cannot get the habit that our Dad is no more.

I'm really amazed when I learn people reach 90 years old and up. Both my grandparents didn't reach that age. You are very lucky now if you reach 70

None of my grandparents reached that either. But they passed in their high 80s.

Living to 84 is impressive as well. Hubby's grandpa was 84 as well I think when he passed away end of May.

It's always a shame when people pass away so close to a milestone. Most of my rellies have lived long lives.

Some people are fortunate enough to live in more than one century, if not more than two.

I know sometimes we wish our love ones to live longer and longer, but it is more beautiful and pleasurable over there and everyone has a mission on earth

I guess it is better to pass away than live suffering.

My sincere condolences to her. Although she didn't meet the milestones of 95. At least reaching the age of 94 is already a milestone. Most of the age deaths right now are 60 below.

True. Not a lot of people get to live that long.
