I Cut My Foot / myLot

While I was taking my morning walk. It is right in the arch so doesnt hurt unless I step on something that pushes against it. So I wore my shoes for the rest of my walks today. That helped. I am wondering if the cats left a bone laying in the yard to get me. I did get 2 rows of green beans done this morning. Then this afternoon I could see a surprise storm coming. So I went back out but I only got about half a row finished before it started raining. That leaves 2 and a half rows to do. The rest of the garden wont need as much work. Hubby got the tomatoes cooked down this afternoon. We now have 8 quarts of juice. He said he would like to have 8 more for making chili this winter. So hopefully I can get 20 more pounds of them soon. I did get Whitey Sh ithead a toy today. It is just a ball and I hung it on a string. He wore himself out playing with it earlier. It was nice and peaceful for about 2 hours after that while he slept. Hope you had a good day.

OMG! You're too lazy to play with the poor kitty yourself!

I hope he has a good time with the ball on a string you set up for him.

Did you spend hours scritching George today? Surely it wasn't too hot to do that?

Yes I am. He is using my ash tray as a pillow right now.

He loves chasing it around. No I did everything else.

Our garden is all planted and we got tons of potatoes and we put four back in the ground so I hope we get more.

It just broke the skin enough to hurt. Shot isnt due for 3 more years. I keep track of that

I'm sorry you cut your foot. I can't go barefoot as I have such bad neuropathy in my feet. I envy people who can go barefoot. I hope it heals quickly. We had a surprise storm, too. Not even forecasted. Rained very hard, hailed a little, had some winds, then the sun came back out. Very humid this evening. That's good about the tomato juice. I used to can over 200 quarts of tomatoes and at least 50 quarts of juice every year. We had a big family and we all shared stuff. I miss the canning, but it was a terrible amount of work. I live in a much smaller home now, and don't really have room for all of that now. Wish I did.

My feet feel better when I can go barefoot. Sorry you cant. Glad we had no hail. My green beans are just starting to bloom. As it just me and me and hubby we dont need a lot of juice. I dont mind the work as it tastes a lot better.
