May I go to bed now?

Last night we went out to eat, after a longish day. I think I ate way too much. This morning I did not want to get up, and I stayed in bed and around the house a while, then went to my sister's. I had more paperwork to do with her. The paperwork has to do with being hired as her household worker through Medicaid. She is losing her vision. The fact that her vision is so bad is making it hard for her to sign things. And we had LOTS of signatures. Also today I took her to Urgent Care to have an injury re bandaged. Her friend's dog accidentally cut the skin on her arm and she bleeds excessively so it needed some professional care. My sister also wanted me to meet the services coordinator at her apartment complex. My brain is completely fried from thinking and writing so much. There are many things that are small, but that will make things easier for my sister. It will be interesting to do them. Hubby got us "monster" Subway sandwiches. They were very good. I have paid some bills online. May I go to bed now?

It sounds like your had a productive day. I hope you got to go to bed. Is your sister losing her vision from macular degeneration?

Yes, my sister has dry macular degeneration. She always had poor vision, but this is very progressive and seems to be going quickly.

Is it hot where you are? It is hot here and I feel like it takes even more thinking to accomplish anything.

I slept in a little this morning, and went out for breakfast and thrift shopping. It is almost bedtime again.

I am such an "early to bed" person, and brain work is almost worse than physical work.

I used to be a data entry operator and part of my duty was to verify that the information on the property deeds pertaining to the land description as to where it was and how big it was etc was entered into the database correctly. Some of those legal land descriptions were so boring to try to read. ie: sw corner of se corner of northern 1/2 of southern 1/4 of tract 4 in doonsbury .... just an example of what a legal description of a tract of land might be .... and after reading 50 or more these things in a day I'd go home so wired I couldn't sleep.

@GardenGerty Oh, nice! Does your hubby steal the covers during the night? (My first wife would do that and leave me without any covers. When I'd complain, she's swear I pushed my covers over on her, so I started safety pinning the covers on my side of the bed after I got in. When she ripped the covers one night, I started making up our king sized bed with covers on her side and on my side. )

You are right. When you get too tired you make mistakes.

It certainly sounds as though you need to go to bed. Slowly but surely, all this paperwork will get done.

Well I faxed it all off. If there are no mistakes they will want me to mail a physical copy of my sister's packet to them. I guess I had better not lose it.
