Would You Rather Have The Flu and Pneumonia Shots Than A Second Booster?

Philippines

I already had Pfizer as 1st, 2nd and booster shots. I'm having second thoughts about the 2nd booster shot. I am part of A3, adults with controlled comorbidities. I've never had the flu or pneumonia shots ever. I've had the flu now and then like most people, but don't remember ever having pneumonia. Any suggestions, opinions, anecdotes?

Never had the flu or pneumonia, and haven't had COVID either. Granted I've double-masked since the beginning of the pandemic and haven't got it despite being exposed to people that had it. If you want to get the shot get it if you don't just be aware of any restrictions that may be in place with people without the shot and that you may be at higher risk of dying if you catch COVID

I already had 2 shots of Pfizer when I caught COVID January this year. Then I had my Pfizer booster after I recovered. Seems you have a very good immune system. Do you plan to get vaccinated eventually?

I already had my 1st booster shot against COVID-19. And it seems I don't like the 2nd booster anymore.

I only had the vaccines because I was worried that I won't be allowed to travel with them..

I prefer to drink moringa tea, turmeric and ginger tea. I have Naturez C and Biogesic at home for when a family member is sick.

You're still unvaccinated until now?

I also have had three shots and never had flu shots before. I get bronchitis regularly and this winter was the first time I didn’t have bronchitis (had my booster shot in December). Me personally, I believe in this vaccine and any other vaccine as well. My auntie had the delta variant and barely survived at 45 years old and perfect health and she still struggles with Covid related health issues a year later while my grandma , who is 70 years old , a stroke survivor and is on heart and BP meds survived the delta variant with mild symptoms and no long term effect( grandma had two shots at this time). So my advice is yes to taking the vaccine. Always!

I never had pneumonia and I never had the flu and I never got those shots. All depends on your immune system.

I had the flu shots three times and got the flu those times. (The doctor tried to tell me I must have caught the flu right before I go the shot each time. I have refused to get the flu shots since and haven't had the flu since.) I've never had pneumonia but am thinking about getting the shot in two weeks. I will be getting the second booster for Covid when my doctor calls and says it's time.

I'd discuss this with a physician and not with lay people on a writing site. What does comorbidities mean, please? I've never heard or seen this term.

Let hope it is NOT compulsory. LIke you, I had 3 pfizer and have no wish to have #4. (I got flu shots twice, and got sick like a dog for half a year each time .)

Right now my answer would be yes to the latter simply because the vaccines do not work. Almost everyone I know who got the vaccine got Covid.

another generalization. I'm vaccinated and haven't gotten COVID. Also the vaccines work best to ameliorate symptoms.

@NJChicaa What part of "almost" did you miss? You also forget that I talk to hundreds of people in my job.

I don't trust vaccines. The governments around the world is killing people.

So that means you're still unvaccinated against COVID? Not even once?
