Boobear is disappointed cuz there's no sunshine

A very unusual day for this region. As you can see Boobear is not impressed. I was up by 6am and as I looked out the door I saw it was raining. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It's now 2:25pm and it's only very lightly sprinkling right now but the weather peep claims we could get a thunderstorm. Yeah, I'm not looking forward to how my furkids react to thunder but I like that I probably won't have to water the lawn for a couple days. So for you entertainment I thought I'd load this video here, I hope you'll get a giggle.

It rained lightly yesterday while the guy across the street was resodding his lawn. Picked a perfect day for it. Don't know if it rained today (I wasn't paying attention).

I imagine you get enough rain so that you'll notice sunshine more so than rain .... unless it's severe of course.

@rebelann A typical summer, we would have a thunderstorm a day. Every few years we have a dry summer. This is one of them.

I have always thought Florida got lots of rain. It is surprising to me that you need rain.

Well, it won't be too bad if we get a little more rain tomorrow but not the kind that comes down in buckets and causes flooding in our lower regions.

Yes, it's actually been somewhat cool all day. Right now it's 73f, it's 3:20pm and should be at least 90f by now.

Some of those dogs didn't seem to mind the rain or at least the puddles! My former dog hated to get his feet wet, he was no fan of rain. neither is Jax for that matter!

Some dogs are like that. Roscoe seems to enjoy water to some degree but if it's thunder he wants to be near me.

Wow. I'm going backwards on the posts I missed of yours, but sounds like you have been getting quite a bit of rain! Did you ever get those thunderstorms? We heard the more inland areas would get that, but no rain here. Oh my gosh, those dogs are loving the water from the sky!!

@rebelann Awww - yah, I could imagine that they wouldn't like the rumbling sounds from the sky - too scary for their sensitive ears. Thank goodness Mom is there and will comfort them. My friend's dog will not come out to pee if it is raining. Likes beach water, but not rain drops!!

Yeah it kinda was but it makes me wonder if we're already in the last seesaw season of the year, I am not ready for that because the next cool down could be drastically cold for which I am not prepared yet.
